PNDT Act and eligibility for ultrasound practice in India
Training is PNDT Act compliant. Eligibility to practise and register is set by the 1994 Act and the 2002 amendment.
Ultrasound training for doctors in India sits inside a legal framework. Kindly refer to the Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (Regulation and Prevention of Misuse) Act, 1994 (Act No. 57 of 1994) and the 2002 amendment for eligibility to practise and register.
Bilmed Consulto Private Limited provides structured ultrasound education. Completing a course does not by itself replace statutory registration. Candidates should confirm their own eligibility with the applicable authority before they practise.
We state this clearly in our footer and on this page so that doctors enquiring about sonography courses understand both the training we offer and the law that governs practice.
