The institute was founded in 2012 by Dr. A.B. Wani. IAO accreditation covers organisational management, academic management, and institutional performance. Campus training is at JMD Megapolis, Sector-48, Gurugram. Online and hybrid programmes are open to doctors across India.
Training is PNDT Act compliant. Eligibility to practise and register is set by the 1994 Act and the 2002 amendment. Completing a course does not by itself replace statutory registration.
